Advice for 3v3 arenas

[:1]Hey guys I need some help with some DK talents.

What is the better joice?

3 points at Bladed armor or 3 points at Rage of Rivendare? My Dk said that Rage of Rivendare is not good couse he procs necrotic all the way into the fight.

Wanna know the point of view of you guys once I saw too many DK using Rage of Rivandare and he is not.

We are running Warlock - DK - Dru. Resto.
I would take Rage of Rivendare. but thats me. For a good burst, you need the death runes from Festering Strike which hits for a good amount (10k+ ) and affected by rage of rivendare (in addition to SS ofcourse)
So the Rage of Rivendare is the best options for pvp talents than Bladed armor?
NO, you will rarely ever use any of those strikes as unholy arenas. Necrotic is win. I mean, there are times where plague strike and scourge strike can come in handy here and there...but not enough to take points out of overall increased attack power. Festering gets used, but does not do enough with rage of rivendare to justify the points used.
However, I suppose that jury is still out. Any team with a healer generally gets necro'd. Any caster generally gets necro'd. Any self-healing melee generally gets necro'd. Heck, I would necro myself if I could.
Any other DK to complain about?


I guess there is something we didnt get into this post yet... I mean every glad DK has those talents, I wonder to know why.
Just sayin...he is right about not needing rage of rivendare if he is spamming necrotic strikes as much as I tend to in arenas. And the glad DK's are about 50/50 on the talents you mentioned.
I will agree about knowing when to switch and how to burst. It is the reason I have been frost for the most part of my pvp career. SS basically = obliterate as far as knowing when to stop spamming necrotic strike and do some burst. Again, though, it is not a definite 'get it or get gone' talent.

Have him check out Massives from Illidan and Alex from Dragonmaw for ideas because his unholy spec (if he is the one on your 3's team currently) could use some touch-up here and there.

Massives has rage of rivendare and Alex has no points in it. One thing to keep in mind about those two is that Massive's team is a close variant to what you are currently playing.
There's a reason to SS (Cough mages) (Cough rogues)
Necrotic strike scales off Attack Power (Strength)
Scourge Strike scales off Weapon Damage
Always necro with a t1 weapon. Chances are you'll mess up the few chances you should SS and it's still probably not worth it tell your weapon damage is higher.
I got the point there is no need to keep with necrotic if the healer is under my fear chain and at our druid cyclones...

There is a problem with this fact, some times necrotic strike is really bad (rogues, mages and warlock).

Warlocks doesnt really care about necroptic once our own heal brake it and also out heal necrotics.

Go unholy for 3's.... Final word. Forget Bladed Armor unless you are going Blood, it doesnt help you in a dps spec. If you havent finished your opponent by the time you need bladed then you're F***ed
